Being the legal counsel of the company, we played a pivotal role in enabling the company to conduct its oil exploration operations in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under the granted concession rights.

Our responsibilities were primarily focused on the following:

• Managing the company’s legal affairs, providing the necessary legal counsel, and representing it in matters related to the concession agreement for oil exploration in Jordan.

• Following up on and monitoring the proper conduct of arbitration proceedings in which the company has been a party, as well as overseeing the performance of the attorneys engaged therein.

• Providing the necessary legal advice to the arbitral tribunal appointed to adjudicate the compensation claim filed by the company in the United States against the Government of Jordan.

• Organising the company’s contracts, supervising their proper execution, and taking the necessary measures for follow-up and enforcement.
